FREE Syspro Sales Summary (Power BI Template app Dashboard)

1.      Page: Gross Sales Summary

This dashboard provides an interactive sales management overview based on “to-date” sales versus prior years and periods. 

Explore sales data by navigating to the four Charts and Matrix:

  • KPIs for Year to Date and Month to Date Sales and GP%
  • Chart - MTD Sales vs PY MTD Sales vs YTD GP% 
  • Chart - TOP 10 YTD/PY YTD Sales By Customer
  • Chart - YTD/PY YTD Sales By Branch 
  • Chart - YTD/PY YTD Sales By Salesperson
  • Matrix – YTD Sales by Customer

Right Click and Drill through from the Gross Sales Summary page to the Invoice Details page.  Further explore and analyze sales data on this page.

 Click on the Back left arrow to return to the Gross Sales Summary page.

3.    Installing the FREE Syspro Sales Summary app template:

  • Navigate to the Power BI service navigation bar, click on 'Apps' and then select 'Get app'. In the Power BI app marketplace, choose 'Template apps' to browse or search for FREE Syspro Sales Summary.
  • Once you have located the desired template app, click on it to view the details. On the template app offer page, select 'Get Now' to start the installation process.
  • When the installation completes successfully, you'll receive a notification stating that your new app is ready to be used.

4.    Connecting FREE Syspro Sales Summary template app to your data

Click 'Go to the app'. This will open the app with sample data. Next, click on the 'Connect your data' link in the banner at the top of the page.

Clicking on this link will open the parameters dialog box, complete the following Syspro specific parameters:

  • Syspro SQL Server Name – Enter your Azure SQL Server name/address
  • SysproSQLDatabase - Enter the name of your Syspro SQL Database
  • Load History From Which Date - Enter the Start Date from when you want to load history (mm/dd/yyyy)
  • Which Month Does the Fiscal/Fin Year Start - Enter the starting calendar month of the Fiscal/Financial Year

Authentication method dialog box:

  •         Authentication Method: Basic
  •         SQL Database Username
  •         SQL Database Password

After completing the connection dialogs, the connection process will begin. A banner will alert you that the data is being updated, and during this time you will continue to see the sample data.

The report data is automatically updated daily by default, unless you have chosen to disable this option while logging in.
